Also, holy shirt what’s all this color doing on my feed?

I painted this tabletop for @afterword.tavern.shelves. It’s an nifty book bar that’s opening soon in the neighborhood! I think this is barely the longest quote I’ve ever lettered much less painted on wood. Love working on big pieces like this.

It’s been one crazy June. I’ve been working on a bunch of new projects, I turned 27 last week, and I just picked these beauties up from the printer. I’m so excited with how these came out thanks to a couple of awesome printers. By the powers combined we got super crisp digital prints on Neenah Balsa topped off with 3 hits of metallic gold ink by the one and only @oddities_prints. I’ve only got 50 of these and they’ll be available for purchase this Saturday when I’m popping up at @fetchkcmo. Come by between 11-4 to grab one. They’ll go up online after that!

Be humble fittingly gets the gold treatment. This and a few other pieces I’ve been working on recently are going to be up and 4 sale at @ptscrossroads next month! So check it out if you like good coffee and gold letters.

Thanks everyone for checking out my artwork over on @wholefoodskc yesterday! Here’s the finished piece and a look at the process. I’ve never done #foodlettering before so it was a bit of an experiment.
